MOMMESSIN PETITS FRUIT BEAUJOLAIS
Mommessin’s land was inherited from the Abbey of Cluny, who planted the first vines on plots around Mâcon. Now, after 150 years, Mommessin is one of the key producers in the region. Light, fruity, and just in time for Spring. You may enjoy the expressive nose of ripe red berries in a wide Burgundy glass. The palate is fruity, refreshing, and light on tannin. For best results, we recommend serving this one a few degrees below normal. Beaujolais is surprisingly food friendly and can be paired with anything from spicy tuna rolls to beef stroganoff.
